| Class Dinner |
Hey people,
Was thinking that we have another class outing; or more specifically, a class dinner. THe last time we had it was a couple of weeks ago, and not all went...only half the class went in fact.
Proposed dates: 2, 5 or 12 March Location: Chong Pang BBQ... (a dam good buffet place with reasonable price lah...$16 per person, got seafood and everything) Turf City (whic is 10 min bus ride from our school)
The reason for having it soon is so that we can:
1. Book the place 2. INVITE OUR TEACHERS
Well, especially Mrs Leo when she is going for maternity leave, should be good if we went out for a dinner.
Let me know what you think!
P.S. I will try to change the blogskin when possible. |

| Portable timetable |
| I know some of us have already memorised the timetable (good for you!). So I hope I'm not the only one feeling lost without a small timetable inside my pocket, especially since we are leading a nomadic lifestyle now... Which was why I created the *drum roll please* Portable timetable... TA-DA!!! It's business card sized, and comes in 2 versions (click link to download): Here's some suggestions on what you can do with it (advertisement): 1. put it in your wallet 2. put it on your study table 3. put it in your head
3. put it anywhere you want! Hope you find it useful! - Bo Xiang |

| Change in Blog Skin |
Hey people
I need a new blog skin. The previous one cant do cos it is very resource-heavy. We exceeded our bandwidth limit for our blog (i didnt knew there was a limit).
For the moment, we have to make do with this skin, until one of us finds a good one to use.
If you find a good blogskin to share, email me.
Thanks |

| Where Your Money Goes!!! |
Hey people,
We know you have been paying a lot recently...money never seems to flow out of your pocket...
But our dear dear treasurer has to be accountable, therefore, he has sent us the latest updated of the Expenditure List. This is so that we know where our money goes to, and so that he does not get the chance to use "CONFUSION RAY" on us to scam us our money.
Go download it at: http://www.4shared.com/file/227355280/cf66e2ef/10S60_ContactsAndMoney.html
P.S. Our contact list is removed bcos this list is public.
Oh, and for tomorrow, we will be using the class fund to pay for the Physics chapter 2 notes. Do bring $8 for your chem TYS and SPA file!

| A Misadventure on a Friday |
Hello friends!
The following content is purely for entertainment and has nothing to do with homework. Don't be disappointed if there aren't any reminders to do tutorials. (: This post is also full of lies and sarcasm. You can filter manually. (:
Life as a KI student is filled with emptiness (that is a paradox). As most know, I am entitled to 2-hour breaks on most days because of my unique subject combination. HC is trying to emphasise that they "encourage" students to take up two sciences instead of one so that they don't get 4-hour breaks on Fridays.
But of course I am trouble-seeking, and thus begins my adventure as 'Teresa' (alter ego of Terence from 09S60) with our senior class.
So today, while everyone was busking in the magic of the wondrous world of Physics during the C1 lecture and tutorial, our senior class cleverly suggested that I attend their Chemistry and Physics tutorials with them. With much careful consideration (after all, my Friday schedule is so packed I can hardly breathe), I accepted the generous offer.
The chemistry tutorial was at the SRC basement, somewhere the C1s probably haven't heard of. The classroom kind of reminded me of a bomb shelter, but there was this door that said something like "DANGER: LASER RADIATION" so I suppose it was a lab.
The nice tutor looked at me with a puzzled look. Clearly, he was questioning his memory. With his doctorate's value at risk, he decided to clarify his doubts.
"Who are you?" he asked, befuddled.
Our senior Joanne and I pause, mouths agape. Lying mode turned autopilot.
Somehow, I became a "transfer student" whose "previous class" is 10S60. And I am also "Teresa". The power of Chemistry! (:
Next was Physics tutorial, which invited equal interest from the tutor. Did you know that "Who are you" is the name of the CSI song?
So I immediately turned into an "exchange student" from "Vietnam... no, Cambodia. Thailand?"
Of course, the tutor was quite nice about it too.
Thus ended my adventure with a C2 class. Maybe if I do this often enough, I'll be advantaged next year. Watch out, The Teddy Nuts!
Have a happy weekend :D

| SL Project |
Hey people,
I am initiating an SL project which is already approved by Mrs Leo, and is now undergoing review by the school CIP committee.
Basically, I am planning to do a fashion runway show, where ticket sales all go to charity. I need people to join me on the organising team, even if you cant be a model...haha
But for those who have the potential for modelling, you will definitely be invited to the auditions, after the SL project has been confirmed.
I am too lazy to say so much so just read the proposal yourself:

| Homework |
Sorry to be anti-climax, but the festive season is kinda ended.
Homework:
1. Physics--Linear Graphs Worksheet (Deadline: TOMORROW!) 2. Chemistry--Lecture Questions (REVISE!!! Most of us were dead just now, so we have to reinforce the concepts AGAIN!) 3. PW--Get everything signed and completed (Deadline: Friday) 4. Maths--Tutorial Questions (Start doing the graphs!!! Trust me it is very tiring and difficult to grasp, so start early!) 5. KI--Read and Read those notes (PANNING FOR GOLD--never mind GP kids who dont understand this! ;) )
Cheers and HAVE FUN!!! (I am NOT sarcastic!) |

| Digitised timetable |
Hi class,
I have digitised the timetable using Excel for fun. Above are: 1) the .pdf version, and 2) the .xls source file.
I did the timetables for 4H2 PCME as well as 4H2,1H1 PCMKE.
The timetable is printed into .pdf format using PrimoPDF, a freeware downloadable from filehippo.com. [ Download here]
You can edit it to suit your tastes (oh, and for the H1 econs people, I dunno where's your lesson, so I put both venues written on the timetable given, so please edit yourselves).

| Class Banner and CT Dinner |
Yo Guys and Gals,
Bet we have had lots of fun today! Doing the banner, having lunch and dinner together. I think for some of us, we can confidently declare that tonight, we will go to bed much more informed about our friends in our class, and understand each other much better.
Its really unbelievable how 12 hours make all the difference; from acquaintances, to friends who enjoy camaraderie together.
Photos are being uploaded on Facebook. For those who also took photos, please upload them accordingly on our Facebook group. DO NOT upload them on this blog...you gotta slow everyone's page loading down.
Sleep early people! Tomorrow is Econs and Maths lecture, followed by Fac Meeting and Total Defence Day (in lieu of CT session). Try not to sleep during the Total Defence Day...give me some face lah...i will be emceeing ;) But for sneak preview, there will be two videos shown. So we will talk minimally and spare you the cliche stuff you heard since Primary 1.
So stay connected and be bonded.
For those who missed today's stuff, dont worry--its just the beginning, and many more opportunities will arise in the near future! |
