| A Misadventure on a Friday |
Hello friends!
The following content is purely for entertainment and has nothing to do with homework. Don't be disappointed if there aren't any reminders to do tutorials. (: This post is also full of lies and sarcasm. You can filter manually. (:
Life as a KI student is filled with emptiness (that is a paradox). As most know, I am entitled to 2-hour breaks on most days because of my unique subject combination. HC is trying to emphasise that they "encourage" students to take up two sciences instead of one so that they don't get 4-hour breaks on Fridays.
But of course I am trouble-seeking, and thus begins my adventure as 'Teresa' (alter ego of Terence from 09S60) with our senior class.
So today, while everyone was busking in the magic of the wondrous world of Physics during the C1 lecture and tutorial, our senior class cleverly suggested that I attend their Chemistry and Physics tutorials with them. With much careful consideration (after all, my Friday schedule is so packed I can hardly breathe), I accepted the generous offer.
The chemistry tutorial was at the SRC basement, somewhere the C1s probably haven't heard of. The classroom kind of reminded me of a bomb shelter, but there was this door that said something like "DANGER: LASER RADIATION" so I suppose it was a lab.
The nice tutor looked at me with a puzzled look. Clearly, he was questioning his memory. With his doctorate's value at risk, he decided to clarify his doubts.
"Who are you?" he asked, befuddled.
Our senior Joanne and I pause, mouths agape. Lying mode turned autopilot.
Somehow, I became a "transfer student" whose "previous class" is 10S60. And I am also "Teresa". The power of Chemistry! (:
Next was Physics tutorial, which invited equal interest from the tutor. Did you know that "Who are you" is the name of the CSI song?
So I immediately turned into an "exchange student" from "Vietnam... no, Cambodia. Thailand?"
Of course, the tutor was quite nice about it too.
Thus ended my adventure with a C2 class. Maybe if I do this often enough, I'll be advantaged next year. Watch out, The Teddy Nuts!
Have a happy weekend :D
